Thirty-seven points, fifth place, still very much in the fight. But that 1-1 draw with São Bernardo at the Castelão stung — that was a three-point night, the kind that pushes you into the top four. Tough trip ahead
Tomorrow, the 23rd, Fortaleza travels to face Criciúma, and history isn't kind: the Tricolor has never won there as visitors. The squad has already trained with this one in mind and the call-up list is out. There's a jinx waiting to be broken, and with the top four within reach, no better time than now.
New left-back in
The club signed left-back Kaio Henrique, a smart move for a position that had been crying out for help. The week also brought the matchday squad list and a heavy prep session for the trip to Santa Catarina. Bringing in reinforcements at the business end of Série B says the board knows what's at stake.
